Several stories have debated whether Spector has DID or the symptoms are due to the psychic connection he shared with khonshu. The link usually compels his personality to shift between the aspects of the Moon gods.
Khonshu claims the connection with Spector was his own creation when he was young, long before he had become the Moon knight.
Spector rescued some team members and joined the west coast avengers team for a while. To design Moon Knight’s weaponry, Hawkeye used the help of Khonshu.
Presently, Khonshu alerts Spector, who helps in the safe return of the avengers.
Spector becomes romantically involved with Tigra, and they meet while visiting the avenger’s mansion.
The team developed some controversies after it was discovered that Mockingbird, Hawkeye’s wife, allowed a man who had assaulted her, Phantom, to die; this led to the formation of a splinter group with Tigra, Spector and Mockingbird.
In the company of Bill foster, they fought the Nightshift. The presence of Khonshu was felt when they were consulting Hellstorm about the ghost haunting mockingbird.
Marc Spector spent his life being a boxer, a mercenary, a U.S marine and a superhero. He is a skilled martial artist and a gymnast. He has expertise in hand to hand techniques; he is a combat strategist and an Olympic athlete.
His brain structure was changed after Khonshu resurrected him because their brains were in close contact. The brain was rebuilt to be god’s weapon are the words Marc uses to describe his brain.
The agreement between Khonshu and Spector granted immortality, and khonshu has resurrected him on three separate occasions.
He carries a truncheon that is usually modified into silver darts and nunchucks. Moon knight was seen wearing silver cestus on each that were with spikes.
As a Khonshu priest, he wielded an ankh that he used to throw irons, bois, axes, and boomerang. These weapons were designed for the builts by Hawkeye, who was time-displaced.
Moon Knight also wore Adamantium armour and staff that could fire cable lines and gauntlet firing crescent darts.
He also wielded some firearms as Marc Spector, and on some occasions, he would use them as the Moon Knight.
Marc Spector, a former mercenary with dissociative disorder, used to be a marine and a CIA agent. He is also the husband of Layla El- Faouly.
One of his alternative identities is Steven Grant, a museum worker. After becoming the avatar of Konshu, he becomes the vigilante, Moon Knight.
As a result of the disorder, Spector forms an identity of a British working at the National Art Gallery, Steven Grant.
Alongside a pet Gus, he moves into the old apartment of Wendy Spector. His boss Donna mistreated him at the museum, and the security guard J.B neglected him. Donna rejected his wish of being a guide.
Spector would take over the body whenever Grant slept and thus would perform some tasks for Honshu. When grant reclaimed the body, he usually found himself in other places, but he would wake up at his home after a while.
Bertland Crawley, a street performer, became his acquaintance; they could converse from time to time.
